What to Consider When Buying a Car Battery for Cold Weather:
Cold Cranking Amps (CCA): Simply put, CCA is the measure of how well a car battery can start the engine in cold weather. It’s calculated as the number of battery amps that can be allotted in 30 seconds at a temperature of -18 degrees. The higher the CCA rating, the better the cold-weather performance of the battery.
Reserve Capacity (RC):Â The optimal temperature at which a battery can function efficiently is around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Great replacement for my 2009 Kioti DK40SE tractor!
Got the battery to fit in my tractor just a short time before cold weather of -6F. Battery cranked the tractor and started it with ease. Should have replaced it long ago! Don't hesitate to get one of these quality AGM batteries for less than 1/2 the cost of what you would pay locally for a poor quality wet cell battery. I have been slowly changing out all my batteries to WEIZE AGM batteries. No more acid leaking on terminals and better cold weather performance!

Shipped earlier than expected inside a box that was very well packaged including a foam inner protective casing. I give 4 stars because the battery arrived with only 12.6 at testing. For an AGM, that's about 75 - 80 % capacity. I charged the battery slowly with a 1amp charger to get back to around 13.5.
